Dating back to 1318, Shepton Mallet’s Friday Market was as much a social occasion as it is a chance to purchase fresh food, local crafts, seasonal goods as well as all your essentials. See our Market Place come to life as a wide range of traders set up stall around the “Shambles”.
The market runs every Friday from 8:30 to 13:00 in the Market place. There is a one hour free parking off Great Ostry Street and Paul Street, which have easy access to the Market Place.
