The Art Bank offers a creative platform for the town of Shepton Mallet and surrounding villages, providing opportunities to support creative wellbeing. We are a friendly, nurturing and inclusive space where people can get together, talk and collaborate. There’s an affordable vegan and vegetarian cafe on site, and a bar that hosts live music, open mics, spoken word, comedy, theatre and eclectic DJ sets in a beautiful, magical setting that is always evolving.
We are a not-for-profit that also runs a variety of projects and unique events where all are welcome, and have a focus on environmental messaging, re-using items otherwise destined for landfill through our mother organisation, the Rubbish Art Project.
