Welcome to Shepton Mallet u3a, covering the town of Shepton Mallet and the surrounding villages and communities.
There is no specific age limit to joining but members are generally in their ‘third age’ – working part-time, approaching retirement or retired, and most meetings take place during the day. There are groups for walkers, talkers, listeners, crafters, readers, players, singers, eaters and writers. Come and find out!
Each week we hold informal ‘Thursday’ coffee mornings from 10:30am onwards in either Dobbies or The Brasserie in Haskins café for you to come and find out about the groups and activities on offer. The first Thursday of the month we are at the Salvation Army Hall.
