Description
Sakura Floral was born in lockdown 2020. Sunny walks with family lead to picking wildflowers and pressing them home in between large encyclopaedias.
I started out making frames for friends and family, and have since gone on to make custom designs from cats, to ferrets, to frogs. I also preserve wedding bouquets, working with the bride and groom to create something special to remember their wedding day.
Working with a local printer, Nick, together we have started to scan in some of my work at a very high resolution, enabling me to print cards, mugs, stickers, and fine art prints from some of my pieces. The possibilities are endless and I’m very excited to see my small business grow.
I still use the large books to press, but I also have a traditional wooden press and a Microfleur, so I can preserve most types of flowers.
Please get in touch if there is anything you’d like me to make up for you. I have lots of pressed flowers ready and waiting to be used, so it’s always worth asking if you can’t see what you’re after in the shop.
